Product Description A fire-rated sealant for through-penetrations that prevents fire spread, smoke, gas, and water, forming a hard char and formulated with incombustible inorganic materials. Can easily be applied with a conventional caulking gun, trowel, or with pumping equipment. 1-part component penetration sealant system. For temperature applications of 120 degrees fahrenheit. Does not have asbestos fillers and resistant to chemical exposure. Rated for ASTM E814 (UL 1479), ASTM E1966 (UL 2079). No special skills required to apply this firestop sealant and no mixing necessary. No required additives and features easy water cleanup. May also be used on glass pipe, as well as telephone and power cables. Suitable for use with PVC and CPVC plastic pipe on closed (pressure) systems and on some insulated pipes.
